Job Description:

This individual needs to be the brand’s digital expert, constantly seeking the latest and greatest advancements and enhancements within this platform. Top of mind thoughts should include- how to 
consistently evolve the brand presence on this channel, how does the brand stay ahead of the curve via technology (bots, AR, VR etc.). This person will be responsible for understanding the business objectives and then developing and organizing the framework for connecting consumers via a digital strategy framework. They will provide a digital vision for the brand, identify opportunities and create roles for each channel. The strategy must deliver on key consumer funnel and brand health metrics while integrating with other communication levers like influencer, PR, ecommerce, etc. In addition, they will help define how the brand engages with consumers and is presented on their website, paid and organic social and new technology like AI & AR experiences. They will also establish and nurture cross- functional relationships internally in addition to 
managing external agencies and vendors. This role has two direct reports – 1 Social Engagement Manager & 1 Community & Content Performance Associate. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required  8+ years’ experience in social media and at least 3+ year working within a global beauty brand 
  • The ability to bring fresh ideas/perspective and insights to drive growth across various platforms 
  • Excels in leading teams / partnering with internal & external resources (agencies) to develop well rounded 360 programs 
  • Demonstrates ownership; embracing both big picture objectives and follow-through on details while driving completion of programs to meet deadlines 
  •  Communicates with ease (written and verbal) especially when developing and sharing project briefs to agencies 
  • Skilled in launching / driving social media and paid digital media campaigns. In addition, is able to successfully build an editorial calendar for website and email marketing 
  • Excels in analytical thinking and is experienced with content & reporting tools like Sprinklr to review brand stats 
  • Upholds experience launching apps and AI messenger tools 
  • Effectively manages digital budget and determines how to maximize spend 
  • Self-starter, agile, hungry to learn and improve day to day 
  • Must possess the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams
