  • This is a (1) Year Temporary Assisngment

Job Purpose:

The work of Content Innovation spreads across print, brand identity, motion graphics, and interactive projects for screens and spaces. The Jr. Graphic Designer within Content Innovation works closely with the creative, production and strategy teams in delivering high-level, multimedia design projects. This Designer is a versatile visual problem solver who can quickly pivot in a fast-pace work environment. He/She will be responsible for creating designs in a full range of media for the company and also for client-facing projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field/equivalent training or work experience

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work in a variety of media
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within fast-paced working environment
  • Familiarity with the latest design and digital trends
  • Contributes to, and thrives in, a supportive, team-oriented group
  • Enthusiasm for brainstorming and sharing ideas

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field/equivalent training or work experience

  • 1+ years of hands-on, professional design and production experience (preferably in an advertising/design environment
  • Ability to carry a project from conceptual development to refinement to production-ready art.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in New York City, NY
  • Ability to work overtime with short notice
  • Must be willing to submit a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
