Job Description:





• Collaborate with other designers to script player experiences through prototype, implementation, and polish phases

• Lead creation of complex and technically challenging gameplay scenarios

• Follow code and scripting conventions and best-practices established by the Lead Technical Designer  

• Participate in team critiques, offering and receiving feedback in a positive and constructive manner

• Communicate with art, engineering, and other departments to facilitate production of necessary functionality and assets to create polished level and cinematic experiences




• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• 1 year minimum of technical, scripting-based design, or equivalent experience 


Preferred Qualifications


• Experience with common text-based and visual game scripting languages such as Lua/C++/Unreal blueprints

• Experience with 3D level editors such as Unity/Unreal/Hammer in a professional context or modding

• Experience developing AAA shooters or action games

• Degree in computer science or related discipline

• Passion for building fun, intuitive, and engaging games

• Self-motivated and drive for excellence

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
