Are you an expert in AR/VR technologies who has been looking for the perfect opportunity to take your knowledge into one of the largest companies in the world? Our client, a Fortune 100 Energy company, is looking for an Immersive Technologies strategist to join their internal team and help them increase their competitive advantage by working with key business contacts in Immersive technologies (VR/AR) to improve safety, business value and reduce costs.  You will help them to build deep understanding of the key business processes that leverage 3D immersive technologies in order to ensure strategic alignment across multiple business groups. 


  • Assist key business partners in understanding how immersive technology might increase business value 
  • Gather detailed business requirements and translating to technical requirements for use by 3rd party developers to create immersive applications 
  • Development, delivery, and support of Immersive technology applications and services 
  • Interface with business SMEs, EMIT BIT’s, and A&T to progress 3D technology experimentation and projects through early concept selection and design 
  • Evaluation of 3D technologies that will help realize digital opportunities 
  • Must be able to storyboard and/or possess project management skills 
  • Must work well on a team and not be concerned about personal recognition 


  • Familiar with key aspects of 3D technologies (3D modelling, VR, 3D capture) 
  • Experience with game development engines (Unity3D and Unreal Engine) 
  • Familiar with implementations of enterprise applications (preferred VR technologies) 
  • Experience with VR and AR hardware 
  • Software development (5+ years experience) 
  • Experience in storytelling 
  • Strong passion and aptitude for immersive technology 
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Strong written and oral communication 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills 
  • Experience working with and influencing 3rd parties 
  • Broad knowledge of Industry standards, and ExxonMobil design standards, specifications, and work processes 
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
