Job Description:

We are working with a global Fortune 50 company that leads its industry in technology, innovation and customer experience and are looking for a contract ePublications Production Specialist for to join the Electronics Publications Team in Mesa, AZ.  


The Electronic Publication Specialist designs, formats and proofs technical content for print, web, and digital delivery. Produces and integrates graphic elements into final formats. Transfers and converts files into a consistent useable format. Determines type, layout, and delivery method.


Qualified candidates must:

  • Be able to analyze the business partners' document formatting needs.

  • Be able to communicate and present information professionally and effectively.

  • Be proficient in a variety of document formatting tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, ABBYY Fine Reader or equivalent conversion software).

  • Be proficient in techniques (e.g., formatting to a style standard; basic knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling; cross referencing, table of contents, graphics/image sizing and placement, image types – jpg, gif, png, tif).

  • Show strong attention to detail; have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously; possess the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.

  • Be equally comfortable working in solitude as well as in a collaborative team environment.


The ideal Candidate

  • Formats technical content.

  • Effectively communicates inconsistencies and questions with subject matter experts.

  • Incorporates and follows up on irreconcilable comments.

  • Adheres to company guidelines for proprietary, export controlled, and classified content; (e.g., proper levels of security markings, handling of content).

  • Ensures compliance with company standards for editing, communication, and branding as outlined in the brand style guide and Company Brand Center.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Five or more years’ experience formatting technical content, including processes, procedures, certification documentation, and test documentation.

  • Ability to communicate in clear, concise English with attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.

  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.


Onboarding Requirements: Background Screen, Drug Screen, Education Verification.


*This is a 6 month, full-time schedule contract onsite in Mesa, Arizona.
