Job Description:

We have an exciting on-going freelance opportunity as an Interactive Graphic Designer for a leading brand in San Francisco. This role is looking for somebody who can be onsite 40 hours a week and help design digital (some print) training tools for desktop and mobile devices that are interactive, maximizes learner retention, and delivers brand experience. You will partner in planning, managing and delivering graphic deliverables from concept through execution.  

You will have the opportunity to create static as well as motion graphic for such an influential sales division that will keep you learning about new beauty products! 

In addition, you will:   

- Produce and manage Education Department design needs across mediums including, but not limited to: digital participant and facilitator guides, job aids, eLearning modules, video content, interactive PDF’s, print collateral, PowerPoint training presentations and web portals

 - Work with an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer to conceptualize/design desktop and mobile eLearning wireframes

- Develop and curate all pixel‐perfect, highly innovative digital assets and UI/UX interfaces, including work cross‐functionally to obtain content and catalog assets in an organized fashion 

- Develop and implement design standards and style guides throughout all phases of development and production, using solid understanding of typography, photography, graphic design and digital design; partner with Internal Branding to ensure all assets adhere to brand guidelines

- Collaborate with Education and cross‐functional teams to understand business needs/project requirements and works independently to transform the requirements into a final project   

- Manage and execute projects on time, on budget, with the highest quality standards and keep manager and Education Team informed on progress of assignments

- Desire and ability to collaborate & provide concise feedback and direction to other members of the design team

- Write and/or art direct video treatments

We’re excited about you if you have:

- 3+ years of digital/print design or similar experience

- Full and technical understanding of Adobe CS and Mac OS, and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Acrobat (this position will need to work in PowerPoint)

- Strong understanding of web UI standards, responsive design frameworks (basic HTML, CSS, Java script knowledge a plus)

- Experience developing simple and impactful graphics, tools and interactive elements to communicate complex messages

- Strong relationship‐building and organizational skills; ability to juggle priorities, work with people in various disciplines, and detail oriented

- Understanding of digital trends, best practices, current fashion and beauty trends, environmental graphics and production process

- The drive to excel and succeed in a very fast paced environment, juggle priorities, and meet tight deadlines
