Job Description:


This major retailer based in San Francisco is looking for a talented Inventory Planner to support Global Planning, specifically for Women's Accessories and Jewelry. This person would start early April and run for 6 months as this person would be covering someone on Maternity Leave.

Job Details: 

-This Person would be Buy Planning, monitoring shipments from vendor to our distribution centers, financial target setting, product performance assessment 

-This person would be analyzing last years style level performance to influence future seasons and monitor performance to plan 

-Discuss financial plans influenced by product strategies and monitor performance to plan 

-Read and react into in-season trend 

-Analyze product performance on a weekly basis 



-Comfortable with interpreting Finance metrics (Retail Sales Comp, GM%, AUC, AUR…) 

-Able to create a financial forecast 

-Able to navigate through systems and comfortable with excel 

-Comfortable presenting financial strategies to senior leadership 

-Must have college degree and experience in merchandising, planning, buying, vendor management
