Job Description:

We're looking for an Communications Consultant who can help out on 4 month project. 

We are looking for someone who has experience working in an internal communications environment for a large organization. 

Responsible for writing, editing, coordinating and publishing moderately complex and/or sensitive communications to support the achievement of business goals and maintain/improve the company's image, in some cases via collaboration with marketing, vendors, and other communicators.  

  • Consults with business department managers to produce communications including updates, policies/procedures, reference/product information, advisories/alerts, press releases, speeches, training materials/job aids, customer response text, technical documentation (i.e. online help screens).  
  • Often responsible for regular and ongoing communications.  
  • Position may include responsibility for participating in initiatives to improve communication strategy at department level; developing basic publication design including photography and layout; conducting civic/community relations activities; developing website content including developing, writing, editing, and publishing information; and/or gathering and analyzing information regarding team member or public opinion and recommending communication approach to management.
  • 2+ years communications experience
