**ONLINE PORTFOLIO REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED**
Our about site is a growing platform within the landscape of our marketing and communications strategy. Over the past 6 months we’ve seen the user base of the site double. We expect this growth to continue and as such are looking to not only maintain the site but build additional content and features.
As a part of our team you will contribute directly to the evolution of the about site’s content strategy and UX. The site is treated more like a product with steady cadence of design sprints planned to address a number of user insights and communication goals. Over the duration of this job you will help architect the UX patterns with a team of information architects, user researchers, producers, and developers. Specific content areas of focus will be product communication and editorial storytelling.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Develop storyboards, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and more to communicate interaction and design ideas relevant to content and audience needs.
Working with team to define critical user journeys, and ways to measure user success/sentiment.
Partner with content strategists and analysts to optimize page and site structure.
*Online portfolio must be submitted to be considered (please ensure any passwords are included)
*Degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or 5+ years of experience in graphic/UI design or a related field.
*Strong core interaction design skills, knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, and a good understanding of usability
*Solid understanding of how to design for the modern web—across browsers, screen sizes, and user profiles.
*Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
*Expert proficiency with Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, and other design tools.
*Anticipates issues at a macro and micro level concurrently, and can propose solutions proactively.
*Ability to prototype (InVision, Framer, Keynote, AfterEffects, Figma, etc.).
*Experience working with external vendors, agencies, creative talents, etc.
*Previous experience working with our internal teams (product or marketing).
*Experience working on large to medium content platform experiences.
