Job Description:

Our client, a global consulting company, is looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager to work with the Marketing Lead for North America Strategic Marketing. This person will be responsible for helping develop, and implementing, the North America marketing strategy for priority initiatives across the organizations operating groups. Collaborating with global, regional and local marketers, you will design and execute programs that deliver relevant and engaging client experiences. 


Metrics driven, you will challenge status quo and creatively combine traditional and digital marketing channels to help us to break through the noise and engage attention-starved C-level executives. You measure success not only in share of voice or content consumed but hold yourself accountable for driving pipeline and revenue, naturally partnering with sales and account management to maximize campaign impact. No stranger to complex matrix organizations, you will build bridges and persevere in collaborating across groups to integrate marketing efforts, presenting one unified organization to potential and existing clients. 
Successful candidates for this individual contributor role will demonstrate experience in: 

  • Developing and executing marketing plans that are informed by data, don’t default to following the “beaten path” and, most importantly, deliver impact 
  • Integrating demand generation programs across digital/social, events, tele, direct mail 
  • High-touch account-based marketing targeting senior decision makers 
  • Effectively teaming across complex organizations 
  • Working with senior stakeholders on a daily basis 
  • Background in B2B professional services a bonus 

As an individual, you are a pragmatic, metrics-driven self-starter with a strong bias for action. You are high energy and adept at juggling competing priorities. 


Responsibilities 
• Contribute to North America marketing strategy for strategic initiatives 
• Own execution of marketing campaigns driving awareness and demand, including:

  • Events (national to regional, large to small) 
  • Direct mail 
  • Paid media/search/social 
  • Social media 
  • Telemarketing 
  • Sales enablement 

Demonstrated experience in: 

  • Developing and executing marketing plans that are informed by data, don’t default to following the “beaten path” and, most importantly, deliver impact 
  • Demand generation marketing integrating programs across digital/social, events, tele, direct mail 
  • High-touch account-based marketing targeting senior decision makers 
  • Effectively teaming across complex organizations 
  • Working with senior stakeholders on a daily basis 
  • Using CRM and Marketing Automation Tools, ideally Salesforce 
  • Background in B2B professional services a bonus

Location: Can work primarily remote, but MUST reside in Chicago and be available for on-site training and meetings
