Job Description:

Our Entertainment client is seeking a Marketing Manager, Mobile Games for its Licensed Games business in Play Vista, CA. This is an immediate need and slated to go 6 months, with the possibility of extension. 

This person must be an avid gamer and have work experience in the gaming space. The person will have experience participating in the launch of high-profile IP games and possess a strong understanding of all aspects of a marketing plan and its execution. The successful candidate will help manage and oversee the marketing of new licensed games, as well as providing support for all existing games in the portfolio enabling growth throughout the product lifecycle.

This candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to be able to partner with teams throughout the client, agencies, and 3rd party partners to optimize user acquisition. This position will report into the Vice President, Licensed Games.


  • Serve as a day-to-day partner to game developers including reviewing, providing feedback, approving and managing go-to-market plans, creative, and activations
  • Be a strong brand steward, provide support, and manage licensees for flawless marketing executions in terms of quality, timing, and strategy
  • Garner internal client Games marketing support across Theatrical, Home Entertainment, TV, and Consumer Product groups
  • Drive social and digital support for games across all titles, working closely with TV and Theatrical digital teams, including the launch and ownership of new social channels
  • Provide support for all internal and external communications and PR for individual games and client Games overall
  • Identify proper benchmarks and goals for respective mobile game strategies and tactics; monitor and report progress and contribute recommendations
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to influence product strategy and inform positioning, go-to-market plans, creative assets, and campaigns
  • Drive live mobile game events at conventions and trade shows
  • Create marketing post mortems, presentation materials, and internal marketing plans


  • 3+ years of experience working in the field of mobile game marketing and working with big brands
  • Strong interest in mobile, console and social games
  • Working knowledge of digital & social game marketing programs including: digital production, social media and analytics
  • Passion for gaming culture, news and trends
  • Strong creative and aesthetic judgment
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented project manager who can multi-task
  • Solid management and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (focus on Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic, creative thinker who is goal-oriented and a strong problem solver
