AQUENT is supporting a global beauty brand (professional hair styling) in their search for a Social Media Community Manager for B2B that is bilingual in English and Romanian! This is a PART-TIME opportunity onsite in New York (10-20 hours/week). Must be able to commute to their office in Chelsea. Flexible with days in office. Entry level role!

We are looking for social media obsessed candidates interested in participating in a part-time opportunity with a global beauty brand. Ideal candidates have a background in marketing/communications or related fields who want to contribute to the global expansion of a leading salon professional hair color, styling, and care brand via social media strategies. You will work closely with a multi-functional team overseeing digital, marketing, and education, and be highly engaged with hairdressers. We are seeking extroverted and empathic personalities who love connecting with new people and are not afraid to take the first step. 
  
RESPONSIBILITIES 
Outreach (60%): 
·      Grow regional sales by acquiring new B2B clients to the brand 
·      Establish a regional communication dialog between the brand and potential salons 
and stylists over social media platforms, raise interest in the brand and prepare to follow 
up offline with local teams 
·      Analyze geographic areas to find opportunity areas for the brand 
  
Strategy + Reporting (20%): 
·      Build regional trend expertise and consumer insights to support salons developing 
their local business 
·      Follow-up, monitor and interact with regional salons on their social media platforms, 
fostering buzz around them and the brand 
·      Support regional sales managers in social media outreach 
·      Continuous reporting and optimization of activity and performance to global 
business development 
  
Internal Collaboration (10%): 
·      Facilitate workshops for peers and cross-functional teams in order to upskill and 
share information based on needs identified in the field 
·      Implement the digital go-to-market strategy to increase awareness and adoption of 
the brand by professionals 
  
QUALIFICATIONS 
·      Marketing or Communications related degrees preferred. 0-2 years experience beyond education.
·      Must be able to commit to 10-20 hours per week 
·      Must be able to commute to our office in Chelsea, NYC
·      Must be fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Polish and/or Romanian 
·      Has strong knowledge and expertise around fashion/lifestyle/culture in the regions where the language is spoken 
·      Digital and social media savvy, with strong communication and presentation skills 
·      Organized and structured, able to work in a team and in matrixed organizations 
·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office and all social media platforms
