**A new position has opened up seeking a talented Production Designer**

 

Assisting the design manager and senior design manager to design outstanding stores for a regional market that upholds the Customer Experience. All 20 members of the team work in similar focuses, however; specialize in various aspects of design. This CW will fill design production capabilities until full time partners are hired and brought up to speed and would be helping a team of 20 support new stores and renovations for the North California and West Mountain regions. There are 3 open positions on the SF studio team. Increased workload due to restart of Major renovation program. 

Note: This position is based in San Francisco. 1-3 years of experience 
Fluency in Revit and AutoCad systems. Very important! 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 
o Contributes to Store Development Business Goals with Construction and Real Estate by achieving target deliverables on number of stores and meeting all established deadlines. 
o Creates palette and presentation boards as needed to communicate design. Facilitates communication with consultants as needed. 
o Develops Design Documentation Drawings to support design intent of schematic drawings under the guidance of the design manager. 
o Ensures incorporation of all CAD standards and detail changes. 
o Checks drawings for design intent and archives completed sets. 
o Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. 
o Participates in schematic reviews with Operations and in design review under the guidance of the design manager. 
o Participates in the architectural design process by reviewing of project scope through review of surveys and deal documents. 
o Participates with cross functional teams on individual store designs by assisting design manager and sr. design manager with providing necessary information to the field. 
o produce REVIT floorplans, put together presentation packages utilizing IN DESIGN and Powerpoint, utilizing Sketch Up to create 3D renderings of cafe designs, utilize REVIT and SKETCHUP to create rendered floorplans and presentation level ELEVATIONS. 
o designing store layouts and entering plans into Revit model 
o putting together In Design presentation packages 
o putting together Sketch up models of the 3D design. Understanding of furniture, finishes and material selections is required 
o Supporting other designers in Revit, picking up redlines, putting together presentation packages. 

• Summary of Experience: 
o REVIT, including production of construction documents: 2 years. 
o Experience working in retail, hospitality, or restaurant design or development organization: 2 years. 
• Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
o Ability to handle multiple tasks. 
o Ability to work as part of a team. 
o Ability in 3D visualization and working knowledge of color and design principles. Visual, written and verbal communication of design issues. 
o Indesign 
• Nice to have: 
o Nice to have - Photoshop, restaurant and cafe design 
o Candidates rolling off another assignment/ have previous similar experience is a plus. 
Hard Skills: 
Must - Revit proficiency required. Do not submit candidates that are not using Revit regularly. 
Must - Sketch up proficiency required. Do not submit candidates that are not using Sketch up regularly. 
Must - Indesign or Powerpoint. Do not submit candidates that are not using these presentation software packages regularly.
