As a strategist, you will be a dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many products. Whether you're on a consumer product or a business product, you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
Additional Role Description:
Our work is fueled by discussions and interactions with product teams, members of the sales team, our colleagues in PR and other marketers across the organization. The job will also include generating user insights, defining the strategic platform for our brands, coming up with unique verbal and visual expressions, developing creative digital experiences, driving the external communications and ultimately measuring the impact of our work.
-Develop and execute brand marketing campaigns, working closely with internal stakeholders and creative agencies to push the boundaries on brand and digital marketing
-Translate internal product and vertical strategies into user-friendly, benefit-driven stories.
-Analyze scenarios and make brand management recommendations as new products and features are added to our portfolio.
-Manage the full campaign development process, including agency management, customer research, strategy and brief development, creative development, and production.
-Collaborate with cross-functional leads (product marketing, product management, sales, media) and external partners (creative agencies) to take ideas from conception to realization.
-Build and refine our brand voice, look and feel, and personality, and evangelize it across the global marketing team and agency partners
-Take on special brand projects as needed.
-BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
-5+ years at a world-class creative interactive agency or in-house brand team.
-Smart, bold, and accessible sense of design with excellent attention to detail and consistency.
-Ability to effectively communicate and lead creative projects and brand campaigns from concept to completion
-Strong project & agency management skills and experience, including managing external creative agencies across a wide range of assets and formats
-Comfortable collaborating and coaching others through the creative process
-Understanding of design thinking process and design research
-Fundamental design skills and creative mindset grounded in strategic thinking and user insights
-A passion for brands, brand development, brand definition, and brand creation (all things brand)
-Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment where entrepreneurialism is encouraged
-Creative mentality and comfort with technical products & topics.
-Experience writing briefs and launching and developing brands using traditional and digital media, closely working with brand / creative agencies
-Solid understanding and knowledge of web and technology trends and innovative implementations.
