Job Description:

Our client, a large consulting company, is looking for an iOS Technical Lead to help support their digital studio front-end engineering group. This person will focus on changing the way that our clients interact with their customers via delivering beautiful iOS experiences. The roles and responsibilities of the iOS Technical Lead Manager or Senior Consultant are to provide professional and effective technical consulting services which include:

  • Experience and aptitude building and delivering iOS applications, including knowledge of Swift, Xcode, UIKit, AppleWatch and other core Apple frameworks
  • Knowledge of Apple’s HealthKit, ResearchKit, and CareKit a plus
  • Experience architecting mobile application platforms a plus
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams
  • Developing analytical and insightful recommendations to meet deliverable targets and complete project tasks within budget and to customer satisfaction;
  • Identifying and communicating conflicts or issues to Project Manager or Team leader;
  • Contribute positively to team culture, with a focus on inclusion and diversity;
  • Building positive client and peer relationships by developing an understanding of customer's business and project scope;
  • Identifying potential opportunities for additional revenue generation;
  • Strong writing skills, both completing business-facing functional and technical documentation
  • Technical experience using any of Android (Java or Kotlin), Spring-based Java web services, or modern Web technologies like Angular and Node JS, would be a plus, but is not required
  • Knowledge of formal design methods and artifacts (e.g the UML) would be an advantage

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years’ experience implementing iOS applications
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years’ experience implementing business and custom facing software
  • Ability to travel up to 50 - 80% of the time (Indianapolis)
  • Functional and technical perspectives on Sales, Service and Marketing is a definite asset
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence required
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
  • Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving
  • Bachelor’s degree (any kind) and ability to demonstrate technical aptitude

This is a ~4 month engagement working as an Aquent talent on-site at our client, with strong potential to go perm for the right candidate. This person needs to be based in Chicago, but open to travel to Indianapolis regularly.
