Job Description:

This hi-tech Aquent client is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Photo Editor who will be responsible for all Photography including art 
direction support of shoots and related activities. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with teams, Business 
Units, designers, editors and photographers to decide on assignments and provide information, support and updates to other project 
stakeholders, key members as necessary and as needed. 
  
Ultimately, you should be able to direct and create photo content to compliment all experiences in a creative way. 
  
Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate with team members to identify photography needs 
  • Assign projects to photographers and keep track of the deadlines 
  • Review photos, edit and make necessary changes 
  • Decide which images to publish to the Photo Library and manage the library
  • Manipulate photos to achieve highest quality using the appropriate tools 
  • Liaise with editors, photographers and teams and advise on future projects 
  • Attend and participate in project related meetings as necessary 
  • Provide information, support and updates to other project stakeholders/key members as necessary/needed 
  • Post-production image selection, markups and approvals

  • Responsible for art directing shoots, activities including mood-boarding, storyboarding scenarios, propping, wardrobe, and

Required Professional Expertise

  • Proven work experience as a photo editor 
  • Strong photo editing skills and excellent portfolio 
  • Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills 
  • Time-management and leadership skills 
  • Portfolio showcasing lifestyle art direction and experience with strong brands  
  • You are able to communicate effectively with all tiers and all disciplines of the organization 
  • You have strong collaboration and diplomacy skills 
  • You possess an understanding of how a creative department/production focused organization works 
  • You are organized, motivated and a self-starter 
  • You can move quickly and like ownership of a project, but are flexible and have a willingness to adapt in the name of efficiency 
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, looking primarily for experience with editorial art direction 
  • Extensive experience on photography-centric projects including art directing shoots, concepting, production and post- 
  • production 
  • Portfolio showcasing lifestyle art direction and experience
