Job Description:
Our large financial services client located in NYC is seeking a Multi-media Producer/Editor for a long term contract assignment. This position is for a new partnership our client has with United Way. This role is highly visible in the organization and reports directly to the CMO. The Producer will be a key member of the growing Content Marketing team.
From video content for social media strategies, to developing regular visual content, to shooting content on location or in studio, the Multimedia Producer/Editor will be an extraordinary visual storyteller who will help grow our footprint in the digital space in multiple formats. We're looking for a creative hustler with a good deal of on-set and editing experience, who's ready to take those skills to the next level. This role will encompass long lead projects as well one-off explorations. The Multimedia Producer/Editor will be able to quickly produce and edit video, create custom graphics and package content into dynamic pieces. Fluency in both emerging and longstanding social/video platforms is essential.
Our ideal candidate works hard - they know when to collaborate and when to work independently. They'll push for the resources they need, and have a designer's mentality. The Multimedia Producer/Editor will be able to work within the UWNYC brand ethos and expand our portfolio of high quality creative; from sourcing content, to conducting interviews, to scripting and structuring memorable, emotional stories, they will handle the process from start to finish.
Job responsibilities:
Multimedia Production & Editing
-Creates emotionally compelling narrative video (please provide clips)
-Cross-channel perfection: One concept, many messaging mediums – master at making
an idea translate effectively and flawlessly across all multimedia marketing assets
-Participates in content development from brainstorming through to production.
-Works with copywriter and design team to collaborate on concepts and storyboards
-Uses video editing techniques and rigorous storytelling to create multimedia assets that
amplify the voice and brand
-Full production: storyboard, script, plan, direct, shoot, edit high quality footage that
suits the needs of the brand
-Handles audio engineering/set design/photography/lighting/cinematography
-Edits high quality final assets for social media and web (.com, YouTube, Facebook,
LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)
-Creates motion graphics and compositing, retouching and color correcting
-Manages multiple ambitious video projects under deadline that are consistently special
and highly sharable under quick turnaround
-Attend events as needed (panels, speaking engagements, fundraisers, etc.) and capture key
points for social media accounts
Qualifications and Skills:
-Experience shooting, creating and managing multimedia production
-Strong portfolio/reel, explicit documentation of role in each project
-Background in entertainment, news, publishing or similarly related digital consumer
media
-Well developed creative skills with an eye for trends in storytelling and culture
-Experience following tone of visual guidelines and aligning style with the brand
and the audience to which you are communicating.
-Thorough fluency in core video social platforms and their video integration in a fast-
paced and ever-evolving video environment
-Excellent time and project management; self-starter with an attention to detail and
ability to juggle multiple products.
-Fluency with the Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere), and content management systems.
-Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective
independently: nimble, organized with strong communication skills
