Graphic Designer

Position Description: The Graphics Designer is required to provide desktop publishing and graphic design support. Coordinate color matching. Assist Project Manager in coordinating of user interface with development efforts. Assist in development and design of exhibits, design shows and trades events. Development of design boards, including layout, theme and selection of materials. Creation of new designs / patterns for graphics and laminates. Work with end business users and Helps determine Layout/Design of sites. Experience Level: 4+ Years. Skill Set: Experience with multiple design packages Consultant must have excellent creative skills with the ability to develop graphic patterns from concept to production. Strong color matching skills. Production oriented and deadline driven. Craftsmanship and flexibility to perform various design functions such as: constructing trend boards, exhibit / special event coordination and assist in corporate communication literature. Consultant must have organizational skills with regard to all studio functions including project management and maintenance of computer systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. 

Description 

The Graphic and Web Designer contractor will create and maintain graphic deliverables (including but not limited to graphics, icons, media, infographics, etc.) for multiple types of media - print, digital, video, interactive, animation and web. This position will work closely with other team members to ensure standards are maintained and innovative creative solutions are successfully delivered on time and on budget. 

Essential Functions: 
• Collaborate with trainers, writers, and other stakeholders to design all training, instructional design web content, and presentation materials to be delivered in print and digital formats 
• Develop and maintain departmental branding for regional products while maintaining national consistency 
• Create multi-media content for use in both instructor-led and web-based training 
• Grasp and interpret management strategic direction into visual artifacts 
• Create visual elements to support strategic documents and presentations 
• Must have the ability to take a project from concept to live/finished project through an iterative creative and technical process in a collaborative team environment 
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate attention to detail 
• Follow established styles and conventions ensuring our clients Style Guides, Brand Standards, Design Patterns and interaction designs across the enterprises' properties 
• Prioritize assignments and ensures deadlines are met to deliver all projects in accordance with project timelines and overall initiative strategy 

Qualifications 

Basic Qualifications: 
• Bachelor's degree in related field OR equivalent experience 
• 2+ years of work experience 
• Working knowledge of policies, practices and systems 
• General knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards 
• General application of concepts and principles 
• Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques 
• Proficient with both Mac and PC operating systems 
• Must have access to a Mac computer and Adobe Creative Cloud applications 

Preferred Qualifications: 
• 4 or more years graphic design experience 
• Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Suite, HTML/HTML5, Dreamweaver, Captivate, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop 
• Proficient with SharePoint 2013 and MS Office applications 
• Ability to translate business information and reports into charts and graphs 
• Creative thinker who can offer graphic design solutions to training and documentation projects 
• 4 years of health care operations (quality, risk, etc.), health care compliance, or insurance/health plan governance experience 
• Working knowledge or understanding of federal, state, and local health care regulations (e.g., HIPAA); health care compliance policies, practices, and systems; and related compliance issues 
• Certification in technical writing, professional procedure writing, or related area. 
• Self-directed and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
