Job Description:

Leading Entertainment Client is looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Producer/Writer.  Will be a 7 month position with possible conversion and based in their Los Angeles CA Office

This position is responsible the creation of on-air promos and provides support for the Creative Manager. Will concept/write/produce higher end spots, stunts, special events, and act as the point person for all ad sales initiatives. Additionally will supervise, edit, graphic design, and audio mixing sessions with in-house staff as well as out of house production companies. Will attend department management meetings and fill in for the Creative Manager when needed. Also assist in bay and VO scheduling and make sure deadlines are met. 

Responsibility Breakdown: 
1.  Create promotional concepts, conducts conceptual research via the internet and print media to develop fresh concepts for higher promos, stunts, and special events. Pitch concepts to upper 
management for approval. Work with the Editor and the Graphic Designer to create graphic elements.  Results in on-air promotions that establishes the brand and drives ratings. Also tells viewers when and where to watch. 

2. Writes scripts and creates interstitial elements for the ad sales department which includes sales presentations, prommercials, snipes, and other materials as assigned. Considers target audience, type 
of sport and type of music that will be required. Accommodates special client requests for the inclusion of logos, phone numbers or website address in scripts. Reviews each script with 
management, brainstorms additional ideas and submits to client for final approval. 
Results in ad sales revenue and accomplishes the tasks clients put forth with the ad sales department. 

3. Log all footage necessary to create each video for promos, commercials or sales presentations. Translate instructions and concepts from Spanish scripts into English for use by the Graphic 
Designer and Editor. 

4.  Assist the Creative manager in scheduling and maintaining the edit schedule and VO sessions as well as provides support and guidance to Writer/Producers and Associate Producers. 

Requirements:
Must be bi-lingual with a strong command, written and verbal, of both English and Spanish with a strong understanding of the Spanish speaking market.
