Our client is a Fortune 500 financial services company loctaed in Manhattan, New York City and they are looking for a talented Junior Copywriter to join their internal agency. This Junior Copywriter opportunity is a 1 year long contract with the potential to turn into a permanent position, 40 hours a week, health benefits and 401K offered.
Our client is seeking a Junior Copywriter for the in-house creative agency sitting within Global Advertising & Brand Management group. This Copywriter role will report into the copy lead, who reports into the Creative Director. Expect to work in-person at least four business days per week, with flexibility to work remotely one day per week (Fridays).
Types of Project: Support our copy lead to provide day-to-day project-based copywriting support for the customer and colleague-facing marketing materials and brand assets, reflecting the new Global Brand voice and tone. Potential to dedicate up to 15 hours / week to writing and iterating copy as part of an Agile scrum for the “View All Cards” shop on the company website. Potential to dedicate additional copy support for 1-2 more Agile scrums as needed.
Soft Skills Required: Ability to work in collaboration with a design partner, and work collaboratively in a group setting. Ability to take direction from Creative leadership, and from account leads or scrum masters. Comfortable working in a changeful environment, noting the internal agency is moving into a growth phase for 2019.
Talents Background Requirements: Experience writing for financial service brands or premium global brands is a plus. Experience with UX copywriting or comfort with digital products is a plus.
