AQUENT is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for one of our COOLEST Apparel clients in Baltimore, MD!  

The Client Solutions Architect is responsible for developing and delivering end-to-end integrated client experiences for teammates around the world. This role is accountable to provide governance, define strategy and architecture, and to coordinate and supervise all activities related to end user computing and the consumption of user-facing IT services. This individual works closely with Business Partners, IT Leadership and Functional Area Leadership to understand the required business outcomes for each service, and with domain architects, technology brokers, and external service providers to define the underlying technologies and develop the best possible teammate experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide governance, strategy and architecture for the end user computing landscape with requirements for security, performance and supportability
• Accountable for vendor management – provide leadership, strategic direction and oversight to partners that will supply lifecycle management services
• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and strategic roadmaps for the end user computing estate and user-facing IT services
• Single point of engagement for demand planning and management conversations with business partners
• Research, compare, conduct testing and select client hardware devices (including laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, RF scanners and mobile devices)
• Review business requests for service enhancements and performs cost evaluation, standards review and sets prioritization
• Contribute to service descriptions and SLA’s for specific services in the organization’s service catalog
• Research and implement industry trends in Endpoint Management and IT Asset Lifecycle Management
• Develop and maintain end user computing policies and procedures
• Define and track service KPIs to measure and drive ongoing improvements in service delivery performance
• Partner with Corporate, Retail and Distribution on new technology implementations to ensure appropriate resourcing, funding and support requirements are met
• Provide change management for Endpoint management systems to ensure minimal business impact
• Partner with IT Service Desk on new features, technical issues, policies, procedures and knowledge artifacts
• Lead cross functional IT technical implementation projects
• Meet with service architects to discuss impact of new technologies and the architecture roadmap
• Participate on the Architectural Review Board
• Coordinate testing for interoperability of operating systems with in-house software development teams, commercial off-the-shelf software deployed in the organization, and with external third parties as necessary.
• Collaborate with architecture, development and infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design for Endpoint devices
• Research emerging technologies and solutions to solve complex business challenges
• Promote IT innovation and adoption by advocating technology advances and the implementation of new technology and services to improve efficiency, speed of delivery and teammate experience
• Stay current with technology trends, forecasts and provide thought leadership

Education / Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an IT Role
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience with Endpoint Management (PC, Mac, Mobile, Print)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Vendor Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience with IT Project Management
• ITIL Foundations, TOGAF, MCA, MCSE or other industry certifications preferred
