Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Learning Experience Designer for a Fortune 30 client McLean / Vienna, VA. This is an EXCEPTIONALLY exciting role where you'd guide and revamp the process and designs for enterprise learning from scratch.  You will be working on creative e-learning and other creative software, delivering curriculum for core competencies such as mass communication standards, leadership best practices and presentation skills, etc.

Think of this role not as your standard Instructional Designer,  but a role that involves a much more modern UX / UI mindset. If your first approach to design is always the end learner then you are who we want!  

This team wants to vamp things up, they don't want their colleagues to dread training. They don't want to do the same things they've always done. Courses are in person, classroom settings, e-learning or other modalities and formats. Do you have any fresh  ideas on different ways to increase learners success and engagement?

As the Learning Experience Designer what will you deliver? ​These solutions will be built from scratch. If you have not yet been involved in the design process from end to end, that's ok. This manager is open to seeing someone who is more focused on the front end research, ideation and strategy OR more focused on the packaging and sending a product out of the door. if you want to do it all - EVEN BETTER!

  • Upfront strategy

  • User-research

  • Ideation

  • Applying adult learning concepts UX design principles

  • Executing design with modern technologies: They use Sketch, HTML, Adobe Captivate & Storyline 3 Articulate. Other technologies are encouraged as well!

  • Collaborative presence and cross-team communication

  • Travel once per quarter to Richmond, VA
