Job Description:

Leading Media and Entertainment client is looking for an Events Planner for a 7month position in their Pawtucket, RI Location.

Global Brand Execution team has an immediate need for an Events Planner who is a results-oriented, innovative thinker with strong planning, organization and business-analyst skills to help drive the successful execution of client's global events. 

Responsibilities: 
PO / Budget reconciliation for all events: 
• Create and obtain signatures for all POs, check requests 
• Reconcile invoices and budget on a bi-monthly basis 
• Provide Events team with detailed update/status of all POs, check requests & payments 

Support events from concept to completion, partnering with cross-functional team of internal and external members: 
• Assist Events team with internal events registration portal including badging/hotels for multiple events 
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to clearly communicate event execution timing and expectations. 
• Coordinate the on-site setup/teardown, ensuring timelines are met, event ready for opening 
• On-site support for all events/previews (internal and external) to provide clear direction, answer questions, provide solutions 
• Ensure food and beverage service is delivered as planned and up to requested standards 
• Support product meetings with cross-functional team to ensure proper product representation at events 
• Manage conference room bookings for attendees 
• Office management including calendar management, document preparation, processing expense reports and travel arrangements for the team 

Requirements: 
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management or Marketing 
• 3-5 years of administrative project management & event experience 
• Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple projects in high volume, dynamic business environment 
• Proven organizational and time management skills – ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, and to be pro-active with strong attention to detail 
• Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple projects in high volume, dynamic business environment 
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
• Material lifting up to 50 lbs and hands on with moving materials
