Job Description:

Our Marketing and Communication Division is seeking a marketing specialist to be part of the Marketing Strategy team. As a Marketing Strategist, you will work closely with marketing and digital communications and other internal stakeholders (Strategic Delivery, Affordable Lending and Access to Credit, Legal, Public Relations, IT) to help develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics that drive awareness, engagement and advocacy, along with reporting, to support our initiatives. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 
• Provide strategic recommendations to support the design, navigation and usability of an industry-wide website clearinghouse 
• Assist in collaborative development of marketing strategy, approach, messaging, tactics and timelines to support announcement and engagement campaigns 
• Identify audience segments and appropriate channels and tactics to best resonate to build awareness and credibility and encourage awareness, utilization and adoption 
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute insights, expertise, engagement of critical resources and executional support of communications and promotional tactics of joint initiatives 
• Design and lead our specific promotional efforts to support on-going awareness marketing, develop strategic recommendations and tactical execution against future resource launches 

Basic Requirements: 
• Mature, polished individual with the ability to present to government officials and to liaise with external partners, vendors and government regulator 
• Mid-level marketing experience required 
• Marketing Generalist with solid experience in website redesign and digital presence 
• Broad B2B experience in: SEO, digital advertising, audience segmentation, development of strategy of marketing campaigns to generate awareness / nurturing / adoption and project management of tactical execution 
• Ability to multi-task and juggle numerous responsibilities, deadlines and both internal and external stakeholder requirements 
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented 
• Collaborative working style with an ability to drive consensus and lead to results 
• Solid oral and written communication skills 
• Flexibility to attend numerous weekly project meetings via phone or occasionally in-person in DC 

Preferred Skills: 
• Experience in the primary or secondary mortgage market 
• Experience in the design / re-design of B2B and Consumer web sites 
• Project management experience in leading multi-faceted, complex initiatives with numerous internal and external stakeholders and aggressive timelines
