AQUENT is looking for a hands on Art Director / Designer who has a portfolio full of logo design & brand identity work…Can you create a logo that tells a story?

In this role you will be the lead logo designer for the  Studio team who provide service level offerings. Any time the company wants to roll out a flagship product  this team brainstorms, names & ultimately create the brand identity. The key focus with be logo & identity creation. This role is really looking for a deep expertise in logo design. However, it will not always be that!

You will work on the company’s next big campaigns and new-product rollouts. This includes everything from brand standards, iconography design, to print codes for colors you want to create and concepting! If that’s not enough, you will be working with a stellar manager & CD with, an agency background!

What are we looking for in a portfolio?

  • Logo & brand identity.

  • Full identity kit: color patterns, typeface, identity logo, and any other on-brand supporting graphics.

  • Ideally work from big name companies or big brands.  

  • Work that shows a complete brand redesign or identity design from the ground up ~ whether that’s for a for a restaurant chain, surf shop, retail clothing store, etc. We want to see it!

A day in the life:

  • Getting briefed on a new product or service

  • Work with your amazing Creative Director on coming up with ideas for that identity & ultimately develop that identity along with identity standards (how it’s used, when it’s used.)

  • Team: Collaborate with 3 Creative Directors and join a team of 15+ creatives (photographers, Art Directors, copywriters. This team is essentially a small agency within the company servicing the enterprise (vs. lines of business)

  • Culture: very agency like, very casual, there’s always good work & collaboration happening. Great work-life balance.

Soft Skills:  ability to take feedback well. Ability to conceptually walk away from a meeting and be able to create a logo that feels like it has a story
