Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate, talented and dedicated Content Creator with strong presentation skills to join our client, a large financial services company in Jersey City, New Jersey. This Digital Content Creator will join their team for an on-going freelance role, 40 hours a week with health benefits and 401K offered! 

The role sits with the End User Services Marketing team which provides an important role in ensuring that our internal staff are aware of and understand the technology products that are available to them and how they can leverage them, to ultimately be more productive in their jobs. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and product management colleagues across the EUS organization to create and implement high-quality content. 

The Digital Content Creator requires an advanced skill set, and the ability to efficiently and accurately create content and format documents such as pitchbooks, proposals, financial statements and other types of presentations following brand standards, using the Microsoft Office suite of applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel). Also has knowledge of advanced applications, such as MapInfo, advanced Excel charting, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other specialized applications, and is able to fulfill Express Desk or Help Desk roles. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Create PowerPoint slides for senior audiences, to demonstrate vision, strategy, and implementation of technology solutions for new and updated office spaces 
  • As part of office build outs, create and maintain content and documentation for employees on technology solutions, including step by step help articles, quick start guides, product  overview intranet pages, brochures and how to videos – including creating the script and the corresponding short video 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Leads on content for campaigns, including taglines in marketing collateral (e.g. posters, banners, digital signage) and content for handouts and scripts for promotional videos 
  • Review content created by colleagues, and provide constructive feedback as required, to ensure accuracy and relevancy, 
  • Ensure the content repository is updated 
  • Produce and maintain online and printable guides, for use at events 
  • Work with the product team and marketing team to understand the content prior to creation, to ensure quality and accuracy of the content

Technical Qualifications

  • Excellent with Microsoft Office, including Publisher, and Adobe In Design 
  • Skilled with Adobe Captivate, or equivalent eLearning tool 
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills are advantageous 


  • At least 5 years’ experience in a content writer role, or equivalent 
  • Have a customer experience/service mindset
  • Experience writing training/e-learning materials, not required but advantageous 
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively 
  • Ability to be succinct, and create customer-focused content 
  • Self-motivator and driven 
  • Excellent team player 
  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment 
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional team 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
