Job Description:

Our Media & Entertainment client is currently seeking a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer for a temp assignment in their Burbank, CA offices. 

This is a hands-on Engineering position involving Maintenance, Configuration, & Troubleshooting of the Network Operation 
Center’s Broadcast Play to Air systems both local Legacy and Cloud Based in remote Data Centers. 

Responsibilities include: 
• Assist in the Maintenance, Configuration, and Troubleshooting of complex IP based Network infrastructure. 
• Take Proactive Action to Correct Ongoing Broadcast Equipment related problems with little supervision. 
• Position requires off hour shift work including flexibility to work overnight and weekend hours. 

PLEASE NOTE HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE :  4pm-12am, with some weekends required 

Basic Qualifications: 
•Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in broadcast maintenance engineering; 
•Must have network administrator background; •Must have knowledge of operation systems and networking; must be comfortable working overnight 
•5 + years’ experience in Broadcast Play to Air Engineering Support and Maintenance. 
•Prior Experience with Video Server, Storage Systems, & On Air Master Control Environment. 
•Prior Experience with Broadcast Automation Systems such as ADC-100. 

Preferred Qualification: 
Background in audio, video, or tv preferred. •Previous responsibilities maintaining IP Networks. •Knowledge of understanding of RF and Satellite Uplink technology a Plus. 

Required Education: 
BS, AA, or Trade School Equivalent Academic Training
