Job Description:

​Cutting edge retail and e-commerce company is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant! 

As the Assistant Marketing Contractor for Canada Digital Marketing reporting to the Manager of Canada Digital Marketing, you will help the team develop and execute campaigns across email and mobile to drive sales, engagement and awareness of key initiatives. This role requires high attention to detail, superb organizational skills and the ability to understand multi-faceted project details across a variety of campaigns. This is a great role focused on driving client retention across email and mobile as well as an opportunity to help across other digital marketing channels. 

Responsibilities include: 
• Execute planned email and mobile marketing support, ensuring creative assets, products, copy, links hand off deadlines are met 
• Share campaign briefs and provide sign off for content release with ESP 
• Conduct manual QA testing of email and mobile campaign setup (includes checking links, tracking, segmentation, creative are correct and ready to deploy) 
• Analyze, understand and proactively escalate discrepancies in a timely manner to manager 
• Collaborate across various internal and external partners, attending meetings to understand campaign goals from stakeholders and working with manager to share recommended marketing support for         initiatives 
• Manage and launch a high volume of campaigns to email and mobile subscribers ongoing, such as marketing communications about new brands and products, promotions, seasonal messages, trigger & transactional marketing and exclusive loyalty offerings 
• Execute ongoing tests capturing learnings to share with partners 
• Partner with manager and mobile messaging teams to determine appropriate audience segmentation strategies 

• 2-3 years of ecommerce and/or marketing experience launching and QA’ing email and mobile marketing campaigns 
• Understanding and experience with executing push notifications, trigger emails, transactional emails and broadcast emails 
• Clear communication to partners, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to balance client experience & business needs prioritization of cross-functional work 
• Well-organized; detail oriented with high degree of accuracy 
• High energy, proactive, and flexible in a constantly evolving team environment 
• Excels in fast-paced, high-volume and deadline-driven environment 
• Ability to project manage timelines across internal and external partners to seamlessly launch campaigns
