Job Description:

This pop culture-savvy journalist will write Cameos questions, act as our lead Cameos QCer, and audit a variety of News content. 

CAMEOS PRODUCT 
*Write and curate Cameos questions for public entities 
*Act as lead QCer for Cameos question sets

*Create question templates for verticals (from NBA players to Oscars stars) 
*Write topical news-based Cameos questions NEWS PRODUCT 
*Audit news Summaries content 
*Audit a variety of Whitelisted news content, from labels to Q&A

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
*Solid interviewing skills/experience (has interviewed major public figures) -- but not looking for on-camera experience 
*Experience editing or top-editing other writers (in Editor or Senior Editor role) 
*Minimum BA in journalism or related fields 
*Advanced writing/editing skills 
*Ability to follow (and add to) style sheets and project guidelines 
*Note: Order of interview process is: Resume review, NDA before writing test, interview if passed test.

Desired
*Experience working with large volumes of data and content at scale 
*Ability to think aloud and work collaboratively/creatively in a "Writer's Room" environment 
*Experience with multiple verticals, including news, sports, pop culture, entertainment 
*Fast-paced newsroom experience 
*Eagle eye for errors and inconsistencies
