Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Production Coordinator for a small, fast-paced, video production team that puts out a tremendous amount of content
  • Work with an internal production team to organize an increasingly complex web of producers, videographers, and other crew members on both commercial quality and documentary style productions. 
  • Manage the day to day workflow of production logistics for a vast amount of content - everything from :10 social videos to 30 minute documentaries - with a primary focus on organizing crew and schedules for one to 15-day global productions, and be hands on with building and managing budgets for these productions. 
  • Be the hub between the in-house production team, producers and external vendors, and collaborators that touch a video during everything through the delivery of the drive.
  • Mount productions in the pipeline while building systems and structures to better organize the production process and footage delivery as the project scales. 
  • Be the day to day point person for all crew needs, and the hub of communication from the office to the field.
  • Oversee the management of house gear, and develop a system for gear tracking and distribution.


  • The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience working as a video producer or associate producer for a brand, network/editorial provider or agency. 
  • Production coordination experience is necessary, with experience managing a diverse range of content being shot worldwide. 
  • The ideal candidate will know the nuts and bolts of Sony and Canon gear, and be able to run 3-5 crews at a time across the globe. 
  • A day’s tasks may include finding a fixer who speaks Bengali in Calcutta, securing permits in LA and developing schedules for talent on commercial shoots. 
  • Must work at a fast pace and be able to handle multiple projects at once. 
  • Hands-on experience with DIT and organizing footage is a must. 
  • The ability to give clear and detailed direction across the production team is a must, as is the need to develop a strong relationship with the post-production coordinator.
  • Extensive video production experience and be able to manage all crew and coordination for simultaneous global productions. 


  • While the production coordinator won’t be tasked to shoot or edit full segments, basic Adobe Premiere and camera operation skills are a plus (but not required).
