Job Description:

Project Manager II - DH

The Procurement Operations Project Manager will own and drive projects from inception to completion and delivery. The manager will work with stakeholders to develop project requirements and deliverables as well as for creating and maintaining any required processes and procedures 


Roles and Responsibilities: 
• Operations and Administration 
o Actively manage the department’s project calendar and resource schedules 
o Facilitate operational issues tracking, triage efforts and communications through drafting meeting agendas, minutes, and conducting follow ups 
o Operations and projects documentation support by maintaining project and operations archives 
• Project facilitation, analysis and communication 
o Prepare high-level and detailed project plans, process flows and issue tracking sheets 
o Own development of and managing to the project timeline 
o Responsible for escalating issues and following them to resolution 
o Coordinate with key business stakeholders and project managers at the various stages of project development, including scoping, technical design, development, testing, implementation, and release planning 
o Act as key communications liaison across functional areas and teams, including business units and external vendors 
o Create bi-weekly or monthly status reports for executive management on project status, and application adoption 
o Serve as a source of project/business analysis on operational and projects and initiatives 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
• Minimum 6 years of experience preferred 
• Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel 
• Ability to work on your own 
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments under tight deadlines 
• Good interpersonal skills 
• Strong written and verbal skills 
• Problem solving and identification 
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities 
• Must be a team player 
• An understanding of procurement processes and strategic sourcing preferred
