ROLE TITLE: Fashion Graphics Designer (for Women’s Print Studio)
LENGTH: Through end of Fiscal Year (1/31/19)
Responsible for designing or creating graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, print products, electronic products or logos. Creates layout specifications and animation for electronic products. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Must have knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design. Responsible for archiving and retrieving artwork and electronic files as well as burning CDs and DVDs as needed. Manage projects to budget and schedule. Work well in a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists.
REASON: increased Graphic needs
PROJECT: Create Graphic artworks for women tees and sweaters
RESPONSIBILITIES: Create Graphic artworks based on seasonal creative direction & trends. Meet with Design team to work through assortment until final sign off. Create colorways based on seasonal palette and prepare files for send outs.
TOP SKILLS: Creativity, Graphic/Illustration/Typography skills, Fashion trend aware.Presentation skills
TOP SOFT SKILLS: Flexible/open to critic, team player, know how to take initiatives, good communicator
BACKGROUND: 3 to 5 year minimum in Fashion
SOFTWARE SKILLS: Illustrator, Photoshop. Nedgraphic is a plus but not required
