We are looking for an Analyst who is immediately available for a 6 month contract within one of the leading toy manufacturers.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will include...
Provide data and analytical support to teams across the company to help drive key brand, strategy, and commercial execution.
Analyze demand creation levers for client's new brand launches, and support team on evaluating media performance.
Technical skills - Proficient in Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, large data set manipulation) and PowerPoint required. Experience with Tableau a plus.
Analytical skills - Ability to synthesize large amounts of data, recognize patterns/ trends and produce meaningful conclusions.
Visual storytelling - Proficient in displaying data in clear, simple and visually-appealing ways.
Communication - Strong written and verbal skills.
Business acumen - Strategic understanding of the business process and ability to work with different levels within the organization.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an analytical position
Experience working with external data sources preferred but not required
Curious – Need to dig into the “so what?” and “why?” to identify and explain trends and/or casual drivers
Change oriented- drives to improve the status quo, not afraid of taking risks, creative, outside-the-box thinker
Good judgment- manages time and multiple initiatives, and focuses on what’s important (80/20 rule)
Self-starter– takes initiative, suggests solutions vs. simply describing roadblocks, comfortable working autonomously or as a team
Resourceful– drives to understand root cause of an issue vs. taking the first “no” at face value; tackles a problem from different angles to achieve a positive result

• Key projects: Projects focused on tracking new brands launch and Movie supported brands globally, as well as deep dive on competitive new brands launch demand creation activities (based on public data).
This work is used to ensure the current activities are meeting the goals as wells as provide learnings used to adjust Fall 2018 plans as well as 2019 launch plans.
