Job Description:

Our healthcare client is hiring for a Part-Time Front-End Developer/Web UI Developer. The Front-End Developer/Web UI Developer works with the in-house design and writing teams to provide support in developing microsites for our internal clients as well as producing Outlook email messaging materials as required. The position requires fluency in HTML, CSS and Javascript technologies as well as an understanding of modern development standards, frameworks and techniques. The Front-End Developer/Web UI Developer may also assist designers with UX development, graphic preparation and site evaluations/reviews as needed. Analytical thinking, proven testing methodologies and troubleshooting skills are also a must for the position. Additional Job Description Details: Candidates must be able to work within tight timeframes and perform well in a cross functioning, multi-department team environment. This position can work remotely.


Requires a BA/BS degree; 2+ years of experience. Additional job responsibilities include: Expertise in HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery is essential. Waterfall and Agile workflow experience, strong emphasis with Agile understanding and knowledge. Ability to understand, adapt, and create a UI/UX that compliments Anthem brand standards. Strong delegation and interdepartmental negotiation skills. Experience with 508 regulations. Responsive development practices are essential. Web video delivery methodologies are a plus. Experience in AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS and related technologies are a plus, but not essential 

Dependent on our capacity levels from our internal stakeholders. 2-4 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Open Enrollment peak season could be 30-40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
