Aquent's Fortune500 client in Woonsocket, RI is looking for a Marketing Analyst for a 2 month assignment (40/hrs 5 days, on site) with potential to extend beyond.
This role will focus on all facets of inventory program support for our Rx Returns Team within Inventory as we strive to meet our business objectives of decreasing pharmaceutical waste & returns. Tasks may range from using Excel to track inventory programs through various processes to using SQL to automate reporting.
∙ Analyze data to track Returns compliance and program execution. ∙ Identify needs and implement new program tracking. ∙ Provide program reporting to stake holders. ∙ Perform root-cause diagnostics to identify opportunities with reducing returns and waste ∙ Build analytical models to illustrate the impact of proposed enhancements – including modifications to supply chain processes, ordering strategies, inventory productivity initiatives, and operational improvement strategies ∙ Develop and support weekly production jobs, including new ad-hoc reporting and reporting to track and measure enhancements utilizing Microsoft Office and Oracle database query tools ∙ Evaluate and maximize opportunities by store type, time of year, and product type ∙ Prepare material that expresses complex concepts in a way that is easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise. Materials include operational dashboards of key metrics, to graphical views of key insights presented in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc. ∙ Support team projects by providing reporting and key data extracts from various database sources (Oracle, Teradata, Access, and Mainframe). Developing processes for data validation and accuracy.
∙ A minimum of 3 years of professional data modeling with SQL/Toad for Oracle, SAS or other advanced analytical tools and a minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain, Business and Data Analytics or Statistical modeling experience ∙ Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and independently solve business problems ∙ Experience in developing analytical tools, templates and financial models ∙ Excellent communication and analytical skills ∙ Demonstrated ability and flexibility to multi-task in a fast paced work environment ∙ Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced MS Excel and PPT ∙ Prior database experience preferably utilizing SQL ∙ Extensive knowledge of Oracle relational databases ∙ Ability to communicate statistical analysis results and concepts clearly and effectively ∙ Python coding experience a plus
∙ Bachelor’s Degree required; Major in Supply Chain Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or related field (or related experience) a plus
