Job Description:

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Business Analyst on a contract basis.

This person:

  • Needs to be highly organized, proactive, and have a process optimization and continuous improvement mindset 
  • Critical thinker and problem solver 
  • Proficiency with Confluence, Visio, Draw IO, Process mapping. 
  • Needs to be a proactive self-starter, and accountable for delivering on assigned work with limited oversight. 
  • Experience working in a corporate environment is preferred. 
  • Will be assessing complex work within the marketing team and will perform requirements analysis, gap analysis and will document and map processes/sub-processes. 
  • Candidates must have strong communication skills. 

Job Description:

  • Produce process documentation with detailed text and visuals in Visio/Draw IO; multi-level interconnected process diagrams; experience with Confluence is helpful, as linked process maps will be built there. 
  • Schedule and run process workshops including materials prep and documentation 
  • Produce and coordinate process/technology pilots; engagement with piloting of processes; identifying issues/gaps 
  • Be the primary resource for handling all process documentation with an intake of large amounts of information, organize it and document it, make the connections and translate it into digestible format. 
  • Needs to be highly organized, proactive, and have a process optimization and continuous improvement mindset 
  • Critical thinker and problem solver 
  • Demonstrates experience as being self-starting, self-directing, and accountable for delivering on assigned work 
  • Demonstrates the ability to collaborate and develop/maintain working relationships inside and outside the organization to enable effective completion of business objectives 
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; strong grammar and syntax skills; strong presentation skills; strong inter-personal skills 
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of associates, senior business leaders, and/or vendors 
  • Demonstrates strong/meticulous detail orientation, process orientation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, and meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrates proven experience where multi-tasking and a high level of detail and accountability was required 
  • Requires at least 5+ years’ experience in process design, ideally within a corporate marketing department. 
  • Applications/Skillset: Confluence, Visio, Draw IO, Process mapping
