Job Description:

Responsible for managing end-to-end execution of social marketing programs and channels, from strategic planning phases through creative execution and implementation. Programs include deliverables across all social marketing channels (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and emerging channels—including live video within each). Manages program schedules and deliverables and proactively communicates expectations and milestones to all team members. A team player who proactively identifies challenges and recommends cross-functional solutions for program and cross-functional process improvement. 


• Manages end-to-end social marketing programs, across multiple channels with varying timelines and deliverables 
• Manages schedules and production teams for varying, often overlapping work streams. Creates and publishes comprehensive schedules, sets interim milestone meetings, and proactively monitors progress to achieve deadlines and results 
• Fosters partnerships with Social Marketing, Brand Marketing, Creative, Content Production, Photo Studio, Merchandising, Resourcing, and Publishing. Clearly and actively communicates requirements, deliverables, timelines and budget status throughout program lifecycle 
• Closely partners upstream during strategic development with Social and Campaign Marketing counterparts to ensure cross-functional alignment milestones and timelines for brief development and project kickoffs are met 
• Manages laterally with creative and content production on timely execution of daily assets and social campaigns 
• Ensures timely execution of all project assets to meet launch dates, and sees through analytics and hind-sighting on a monthly and/or quarterly basis. 
• Manages day-to-day tasks of program planning and execution: 
o Communicates strategic milestones and brief due dates to marketing partners; ensures information is available and complete 
o Populates agendas and meeting cadence for planning, kick-off, art direction, pre-pro, photoshoots, and reviews 
o Opens jobs and builds job folders with project info; updates as jobs evolve and maintains final program archive of job info 
o Tracks schedules, updates reports and communicates program status to key stakeholders through weekly status meetings and online tools 
o Identifies photo shoot capacity across channels and partners with Creative and Content Production for shoot execution and retouching milestones 
o Ensures product delivery for photography is tracking to program schedule 
o Routes creative to marketing partners and ensures feedback is clear, actionable and received on time 
o Facilitates passing off of creative assets to publishing for posting 
o Ensures completion of all assets briefed in and tracks final hand-offs, QA, publishing, and live dates 
o Facilitates urgent social media requests and rallies all parties involved to meet the business need under tight, often high-pressure timelines 
o Manages process and production for fast-turn social post, collaborating with social marketing and creative to respond to trends and to join social conversations in real-time 
• Identifies program risks early on and provides mitigation strategies 
• Monitors and advocates process; identifies gaps/improvements to work more efficiently 
• Demonstrates ownership/investment in the work; has clear understanding of business goals 
• Has a good understanding of program and photoshoot budgets; tracks budgets and facilitates conversation between Resourcing, Creative, Marketing and Content Production if/when costs impact design &/or budget 

• 4+ years’ experience in project, or program management in marketing required 
• College degree or equivalent experience 
• Creative project management experience required; agency experience preferred 
• Social media marketing and/or corporate retail experience a plus 
• Experience in people management preferred 
• Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SmartSheet, Box, Workfront, ProofHQ preferred 
• Effective relationship-building skills; ability to cultivate strong partnerships across functions to bring people together toward common goals and consensus 
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in leading/facilitating cross-functional team meetings to achieve results 
• Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented 
• Strong time management skills; ability to troubleshoot issues, juggle multiple programs with varying quick timelines, and prioritize 
• High energy and flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment 
• Passion for social media, our programs, audience, and marketing
