Job Description:

Our top entertainment client is looking to hire a Marketing Segmentation and Audience Manager to define audiences and build campaigns in their CRM toolset that delivers on acquisition, engagement, and retention objectives.  The position is responsible for working with our marketing stack  - which includes SAS MA, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Localytics, and Krux – to design and build out trigger-based, recurring, and ad hoc campaigns targeting prospects and existing customers.   This position will have ownership and accountability with regards to the timeliness, quality and accuracy of campaign execution.  It interfaces primarily with Marketing partners accountable for campaign business results, operations managers responsible for managing execution of campaigns, and product and technology teams responsible for delivering new capabilities.


  • Perform full campaign builds within SAS and, where needed, channel-specific tools like SFMC and Localytics.  This includes audience definition including targeting and suppressions, segmentation, and treatment mapping.
  • Test and validate campaigns before deployment; perform and sign off on QA/QC, and deploy campaigns.
  • Validate that recurring campaigns are running as expected within toolset.
  • Consult on campaign design, including targeting criteria and testing recommendations.
  • Provide requirements for new data sources and applications as well as channel and toolset functionality and capability.
  • Ensure Marketing campaign requirements documentation is up to date and accurate.


  • 5+ years experience developing and designing campaigns using campaign management and channel tools (SAS, SFMC/ExactTarget or other email service providers, Localytics or other push notification applications, Krux or other DMPs)
  • 3+ years experience with customer segmentation and test design
  • 2+ years project management experience (has managed small to medium sized projects including
  • 3+ years in a data analyst capacity on either Marketing, Product, or Technical/IT teams
  • 3+ years experience with SQL
  • Disciplined, analytical but creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail, strong ability to complete work under pressure on tight deadlines, logical thinking, curious, self motivated
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills at all levels of an organization with the ability to present complex data, influence others and build relationships.
  • Positive attitude and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree required.
