Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for writing server-side web application logic, develop back-end components, connect and potentially modify the application with third-party plugins. Some front-end work will also be required while working with the design team. The projects have been initiated and are built with WordPress. You must also custom plugin experience. Client is open to someone working remote.

Duties and Responsibilities 
• Develop the applications with existing business requirements 
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid 
• Utilize backend data services for feature functionality and back-end reporting 
• Lead the application development to delivery and post launch support 
• Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality 
• Interface with internal teams to gather requirements and develop solutions 
• Communicate effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions along with technical and process issues
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components 
• Coordinate with co-developers and keep project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and project manager 

Requirements and Qualifications 
• Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 5 years 
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments 
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds 
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert 
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks 
• Experience with relational database skills with MySQL 
• Knowledge of API's, such as twitter, Facebook, Instagram. 
• Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap 
• Experience with WP Pro Quiz, QSM (Quiz survey Master), Gratisfaction - Loyalty, Rewards, WooCommerce a plus 
• Knowledge of login functionality to handle social websites and third party services like Eloqua a plus
• You must also custom plugin experience
