POSITION SUMMARY: 

Managing the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans and initiatives for a business unit, field or department. Strategic planning and execution. Financial forecasting, offer/discount management, and customer segmentation. Relationship management with external agencies, vendors or business partners. Leading and facilitating cross functional or organizational groups. 3-5 years project leadership in a marketing organization. MBA strongly preferred and a strong, experience marketer with solid understanding of consumer marketing, financial analysis and technology to help stand up the programs in the pipeline. 

 

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Marketing strategy and planning; experience with digital games and promotions a plus 
  • Financial acumen and strong analytical skills 
  • Customer segmentation 
  • Agency/vendor management 
  • Creative brief writing and collaboration with a creative studio 
  • Experience working with coupon/discount/loyalty programs a plus 
  • Experience working with technology teams to define requirements for program build 
  • Organized and able to handle multiple overlapping projects at once 
  • Serve as marketing contact for eCommerce brand simultaneously, develop a keen understanding of the brands’ businesses, priorities, and products 
  • Navigate conversations with and advise senior-most marketing leaders in the brands’ organizations on both the strategic and tactical level  
  • Cross-Functional Marketing Lead 
  • Build reciprocal partnerships cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization: merchandising/brands, creative, store marketing, store education, loyalty, and analytics teams 
  • Employ a strategic approach to process; organize and divvy up work effectively 


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

• 6-7 years of experience in marketing and/or brand management; agency, retail, application/gaming experience preferred 

• Strong digital, social media, eCommerce and non-traditional marketing background a plus 

• University degree 

• Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically advanced Excel), Slack

• Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas 

• Honed presentation skills; confidence in presenting point of view in multiple forums, including leadership level 

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal 

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills 

• Creative self-starter with can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach 

• Personable and flexible with demands and changes in extremely fast-moving business environment 

• Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team (Creative, Finance and Analytics)
