Job Description:

Aquent's client is seeking a UX Designer for their Design Innovation Center located in San Francisco, CA.  The are looking for an excellent UX Designer who shares their “innovation through passion” philosophy and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

This UX Designer is responsible for creating beautiful, functional and desirable interfaces and services across a wide array of technologies.  Their work appears on smart phones, tablets, computers, televisions, wearables and other devices they can’t describe yet.  They are looking for a talented collaborative designer to join our group and bring new energy to our process. You should be ready to help at all stages of product design, from uncovering new product concepts to detailing the intricacies of the out of box experience, to the product experience after a year of usage.

Years of Experience:

5 or more years in user experience design

Core Competencies:

• Strong experience in User Experience and Interaction Design

Essential Functions:

• Conceptualize, visualize and develop ideas for products and take them from germinal to shippable

• Wireframing, conceptualizing, rapid prototyping, user-testing, interaction design and visual design

• Work on products and features in close collaboration with other Designers and Engineers

• Creating experiences that successfully accomplish appropriately set goals

• Crafting ideas that turn complex and confusing into simple and understandable


Skills Required:

• Making UX, UI guideline enough to communicate with stakeholders

• Sketching and visualizing new ideas and user scenarios

• Documentation creation: Scenarios, Wireframes, Visual Design, low and high fidelity mockups and prototypes

• Able to present and defend ideas to the internal team, and help critique and push the rest of the team to better work

• Clear, concise and transparent communication style

• Action-oriented, diligent and flexible

• A clear understanding of design-centered processes and proven methodologies for identifying and solving problems


Education Required: 

Bachelor’s Degree in related field Master’s Degree preferred



Some International and Domestic travel is required
