Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a dynamic content management-technical writer who can implement digital content display and transformation, data/file/library migration, Content Management System (CMS) workflow, content gathering sessions and training working with a new social intranet system. Our client's goal is to implement a social intranet that significantly improves user experience, delivers greater operational efficiencies, eliminates reliance on aging legacy technology, and positions the client to support future transformations in the user experience, response to evolving customer expectations and service innovations.  Writing for this role will include both internal and external technical company communications writing for the web. 

Required Skills: 

  • 5-10 years of technical writing experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Skilled in Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365 and Visio
  • Be articulate with active listening and excellent communication (oral and written), intrapersonal, organization, and motivational skills
  • Be self-starter who can work independently
  • Able to collaborate, develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all organization levels with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking experience with hands-on practical experience in problem solving
  • Ability to learn new business applications and the ability to work on multiple projects with competing demands

Highly Preferred Skills: 

  • Salesforce

  • ​Experience in transportation/aviation/railroad or similar industries
