Job Description:

Our client, a well-known consulting company, is looking for an experienced Customer Centric Marketing Manager to help support marketing efforts for their West Coast strategic accounts. This is a freelance, long-term (open ended), opportunity with the ability to work remote, but you must live in the San Francisco area to travel to occasional on-site meetings. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing client relationships and marketing efforts, specifically with tech companies. 

The types of skills needed for this client centric marketing role include:

  • Understanding and experience in the communications, high tech industries including familiarity with trends driving the industry and the impact of those trends on clients 
  • Project management skills 
  • Planning and strategic skills 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills- the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to both internal and external audiences 
  • Knowledge of, passion and aptitude for digital marketing
  • Proven ability to get things done both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Understanding of how to design and apply effective marketing programs for a given target market and situation 
  • Resourcefulness and tenacity, ability and willingness to operate efficiently with occasional ambiguity 
  • Thorough understanding and ability to apply marketing concepts, branding and message development skills
