Job Description:

This is a tremendous opportunity in a thriving beauty environment. The role or Sr Graphic Designers assists a team of other designers with print collateral on the marketing team. The Sr Graphic Designer should a strategic, creative, articulate, efficient and extremely organized team player. He or she will produce smart, easy-to-shop layouts; focusing on visually stunning communication. The Sr Graphic Designer will also brainstorm and partner with in-house photographers to produce elevated imagery aligned with our brand. They will refresh evolving creative direction and will translate complicated offers into magazines and other printed collateral. This is a full-time, freelance position and is equally creative as it is production. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
• Elevated taste level and ability to create unique design with strong typography and hierarchy skills 
• Extensive experience in print materials across touch points and communicate with in store design team 
• Understands the big picture and what needs to be done to get the job accomplished against tight timelines 
• Willingness to listen to constructive criticism and make changes according to feedback delivered by 
marketing, business owners and creative directors 
• Ability to employ critical thinking and sound judgment when making decisions about layout and 
photo art direction 
• Inserts changes, reworks layouts and adapts to any changes within the design process without drama 
Works collaboratively with team members with a friendly and flexible attitude 
• Contributes design ideas proactively and does not wait for “the answer” from supervisor 
• Provides a unique point of view within the current branding 
• Supports in-store design when needed which signage and store décor. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
• 4 Year Minimum college degree in Graphic Design or equivalent 
• 5 years Graphic Design experience with a passion for the brand 

TECHNICAL SKILLS 
1. Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office 
2. Ability to follow established processes and procedures 
3. Strong organizational skills, quick execution style 
4. Ability to communicate adequately orally and in written form 
5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on a multitude of concurrent tasks 
6. Must be discreet with confidential information of which he/she has access 
7. Willingness to accept other duties, as assigned 
8. Forward-think and make decisions with confidence 
9. Fast, efficient, organized 
10. Not above production or changing direction at a moments notice
