Job Description:

Our Fortune 500 client, a leader in banking technology, is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer for their User Experience team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This User Experience Designer opportunity is 12+ months, 40 hours a week, health benefits and 401K offered.

The End To End Forecasting Program focuses on building an integrated set of processes and capabilities to forecast our financial statements and key financial metrics across a number of forecasting use cases including: monthly baseline process, stress forecasting and other resolution scenarios. The goal is to unify the activities required across Finance, Lines of Business, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Tax and Treasury by leveraging the same business capabilities and framework. This User Experience Designer role will be responsible for hands-on UX Designer to support the current and target process, as well as partnering with the multiple teams to implement the target E2E Forecasting design. 

User Experience Designer Required Skills: 
- 10 + years of experience in UX design 
- Financial Services design experience including trading systems and systems with data and analytic intensive needs 
- Deep understanding of interface and experience design and a passion for visual design to bring consumer level usability to the enterprise user through the products we build and iterate

- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into designs 
- Experience evaluating product analytics and KPIs and translating insights into designs 
- Expert experience in Java UI technologies HTML5/Angular JS/CSS3/Bootstrap etc 
- Experience in doing the UX for Portal 
- Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions 
- Have a positive and imaginative approach to problem solving 
- Work collaboratively with the other designers on the team, developers and product managers 
- Excellent communication skills 

User Experience Designer Desired Skills: 
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients 
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval 
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design 
- Be open to receiving constructive feedback 
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies 
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
