Job Description:

Aquent's Fortune500 client in Woonsocket, RI is looking for a Strategy Analyst for a 6 month assignment (40/hrs 5 days, on site) with potential to extend beyond. 

Overview: 

Loyalty and Personalization Strategy Analyst

Responsibilities: - Support of recurring and ad hoc requests from Sr. Managers, for supporting BU as well as other Sr. Managers as needed - Moderate understanding of all of our channels: timing; costs; options to participate; requirements to participate; how to participate, etc. - Moderate understanding of KPI’s for each channel: performance minimum’s to participate; performance goals for each channel, drivers of each metric, etc.

Duties

Channel Activation management, including: o Manage vendor submissions for supporting BU; ensuring accuracy of entries, update submissions to meet guidelines for each channel, communicate with Vendors for changes, work with Sr. Manager with open issues o Entry of submissions identified by Sr. Manager into needed input tools (i.e., Pipeline, CRM submissions, Last Chance submissions) o Monitor submissions for accurate execution, where needed o Communicate, receive, consolidate feedback from CM, Vendors or Sr. Manager o Provide feedback to external partners for changes/updates, as needed o Understanding of where to find, who to ask and how to use data needed to complete submission templates o Managing calendar of events ? Analytical support including: o Pulling, consolidation, organization and review for accuracy & completeness of campaign results o Achieving deadlines o Asking clarifying questions for any ambiguity o Clearly communication any barriers for completion before missing deadline ? Attend Category Manager (CM) or Vendor meetings, as identified by Sr. Manager, including: o Ability to communicate with CM or Vendors regarding basic performance of campaigns, upcoming events, previous events o Acknowledge questions, document and provide to Sr. Manager in cases where they can’t be answered by Asst. Manager o For identified CM’s or Vendors, provide basic strategic guidance relating to ways to participate, or actual participation o For identified CM’s or Vendors, work independently to support in totality ? Partner with key internal & external to resolve questions for CM’s, Vendors or Sr. Managers SECONDARY responsibilities: ? Review performance of campaigns and provide feedback/commentary or ideas to change for improvement ? Improve processes for efficiency, identifying opportunities to reduce time to complete tasks, or increase accuracy 

Experience

Clear communication ? Managing deadlines, manage workload in an efficient manner o Set deadlines o Communication any barriers to achieving deadlines o Communicate updates, or questions, clearly back to Sr. Manager ? Consistent quality of performance ? Exemplary performance under pressure ? Works independently ? Basic understanding of Microsoft suite, including Excel, PowerPoint & Access o Using basic formulas in Excel, including VLOOKUP & PivotTables o Ability to update PowerPoint presentation templates with data ? Ability to use external tools like RADR, Ad Grinder, Image Tool, Release Ads and others as identified DESIRED SKILLS: ? Curious and driven with desire to understand performance, strategy and “reasons why” at an in-depth level ? Understanding of finances, and impact of vendor submissions on forecasts, budget and total results ? Intermediate understanding of Microsoft suite o Using intermediate formulas in Excel (tables, graphs) o Ability to create queries & tables in Access o Creating basic PowerPoint presentations

Education

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.​
