Job Description:

The Creative Design Manager, Education will set the creative vision for the  Education Creative Production team. By creating dynamic art, photo, video, print, and digital training tools for desktop and mobile devices that maximize learner retention, they will work with cross-functional partners from concept through execution. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of creative design skills, technical knowledge and the ability to provide clear, concise feedback within the team the create the most engaging learning experiences.

From product 101 to application techniques to artistry and trend, the education dept. drives the training strategy and provides the tools for our store employees to be the most knowledgable in the industry. 

Your Role: 
*Responsible for managing and producing Education Department design needs across mediums including, but not limited to: digital participant and facilitator guides, training videos, job aids, eLearning modules, interactive PDFs, print collateral, PowerPoint training presentations and web portals. 
*Establish and implement design and format standards and processes to produce consistent and high-quality results, consistent with Sephora brand 
*Demonstrate solid understanding typography, photography, graphic design, digital design, & video treatments: ensuring all assets adhere to brand guidelines 
*Participate in and support an environment of multidisciplinary collaboration and creative problem solving 
*Identify new tools or applications for the creation of impactful, effective educational content 
*Own the creation and curation of all assets, including working cross-functionally to obtain content and cataloging assets in an organized fashion 
*Responsible for driving vision for all education video projects, fro storyboard to final edit 
*Ability to provide concise feedback and direction to video content team 
*Write and/or provide feedback on video scripts 
*Act as Art Director for video treatment and/or on set, as needed 
*Drive own work and keep manager and Education Team informed on progress of assignments 
*Recruit, manage, lead, mentor, and guide excellent freelance contractors and visual content partners as needed 

We’re excited about you if you have: 
*Bachelor's or equivalent experience in graphic design or related field 
*Minimum 5+ years professional design experience in an agency or in-house studio 
*Full an technical understanding of Adobe CS and Mac OS, and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat (this position will need to work in PowerPoint) 
*Portfolio that demonstrates ability to design for video/motion content (Education video content experience a plus) 
*Strong understanding of web UI standards, responsive design frameworks (basic HTML, CSS, Java Script knowledge a plus) 
*Experience recruiting and managing a multifunctional design team 
*Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented, time mgmt skills, ability to juggle priorities, 
*Strong relationship building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines 
*Understanding of digital trends and best practices, current fashion and beauty trends, environmental graphics and production process 
*Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines 
*The drive to succeed and excel; self-motivated
