Job Description:

The Creative Technology Lead will work closely with designers, writers, producers and engineers to lay the foundation for our client's digital presence. They need someone who can take charge of existing infrastructure and customize it to work as a marketing channel. This role is closely linked to Design Engineers, but rather than bridging the gap between design and product, you will be bringing creative to life for marketing. 

Responsibilities:
Hire, manage, lead, and mentor a team of developers. 
Build engaging experiences using the latest in front-end technologies that will define the brand story in the digital space. 
Audit current systems and tools in order to stabilize the foundation from which they build web properties.
Evaluate current CMS, Contentful, to determine tech debt and figure out best path forward 
Identify and prioritize efforts most impactful projects. 
Define and build tools and frameworks that can be largely used by the broader team for a variety of needs.

Requirements:

Education. BS/BA degree in Computer Science, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience. 
Development experience. 6 - 8 years of developing websites and applications. 
Management experience. 2-4 years managing and building a team. 
Branded experiential perspective. Have proven track record of building brand experiences, acquisition and and marketing websites and perspective on what works, what doesn’t, and what should never be done. 
The tools. Experience in modern web application architecture with ES6, React, Node.js, NPM, Yarn, WebPack, and motion using JavaScript and CSS 
Deployment savvy. Experience shipping and maintaining a medium-large scale web applications 
To talk the talk. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. 
Flexibility. Ability to deal with ambiguity to problem-solve in brand new domains. 
Bias for action. You believe that speed and quality aren't mutually exclusive. You've shown good judgement about shipping as fast as possible while still making sure that products are built in a sustainable, responsible way.
