Job Description:

The Technical Writers are responsible for creating, updating, and editing knowledge base articles, bullet news, and help topics. They will compose on-strategy copy elements to ensure consistency of the client voice. The Technical Writers must demonstrate conceptual as well as strategic thinking. 


  • Collaborate with Tools and Procedures teams to create and update knowledge base articles, help files, and bullet news 
  • Write clear, simple content that speaks to customers in their own language 
  • Edit and proofread help files, knowledge base articles, and bullet news. 
  • Suggest ways to improve content with formatting and visuals 
  • Give constructive feedback to your peers and review your own work with others 
  • Ensure content is technically accurate and meets client standards and guidelines 
  • Collaborate openly and effectively with a range of stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with content strategists to analyze under-performing content and suggest ways to enhance it 
  • Manage content projects and communicate status proactively 
  • Look for ways to make your content better - keep raising the bar 
  • Organize and track assignments and make sure final copy is routed to the appropriate teams 
  • Able to create content that meets current web accessibility guidelines 


  • Bachelor's degree in technical communication, writing/composition, or similar field (Master's degree in technical communication preferred) 
  • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years with a Master's degree 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, formatting, collaboration, and communication skills 
  • Experience transforming content using formatting and visuals 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines 
  • Experience collaborating with writers, visual designers, and subject matter experts 
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically. Passion for providing a great user experience 
  • Understanding of SEO concepts and how readers find and use content on the web 
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Mac (OS and apps like Pages and Keynote) 
  • Working knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0
