Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Marketing Account Coordination ConsultantFast learner, great listener, hard worker who will stop at nothing to get the job done - on their Direct-to-Consumer marketing team.

Sound like you?  Marketing isn’t just something that you ‘like’ to do – you see it as your calling, your career pursuit. And while you’re still learning the ropes, you’ve got a solid foundation. You’ve been schooled in marketing and communications. You communicate well and can navigate your way around spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. You probably have an internship under your belt, too. Even better, you’ve already spent time in the field of Marcomm at an agency or in-house shop. You’re eager, tenacious and hungry to succeed. You know you’ve got a lot to learn, and you’re ready to go the distance and put in the hours to learn it. In short, you’re a sponge with a body, mind and soul focused on making things happen.

What’s not to like? Well, they’re not fans of big egos. They believe great ideas don’t know where they come from. That means you’ll have the chance to think and share your ideas. They may not always fly, but you’ll learn by working in our highly collaborative environment.

It's a one-of-a-kind team. It has a lot to do with the fact that this company is a one-of-a-kind health and wellness brand. Their people are above average, too. Many of our marketing communications and creative folks come from some well-known marketing, advertising, interactive and public relations agencies. So you’ll get to learn a lot from people with a lot of experience.

A one-of-a-kind goal. Their number one pursuit is to do what they can to champion and support the lives of customers and clients – through brilliant marketing and communications, of course. They do this by partnering with Business Units, Sales Organizations and other important groups. And by working to make the brand, its products and services well known and loved by multiple audiences – to the point that customers just can’t stop talking about them to everyone they know.

The all-important nitty-gritty.

Your job – should the chemistry be great for both of us.

It’s to be a Marketing Communication Coordinator who will work closely with the marketing and creative people to support the constant flow of projects that make up their huge marketing communications program. You’ll help make sure that jobs are completed on time and with a level of efficiency that has people at a loss for words. To make that happen, you need that all important foundation in marketing. That includes a basic understanding of communications strategies, methods and processes. You also need to know how to work well with others, how to communicate effectively in what you say, and how you put it on paper and in emails. That’s key in your pursuit to help build strong relationships with internal team members, clients and partners.

Our national insurance industry client practices what it preaches, and has a strong health and wellness focus as part of their company culture. As a part of their organization, even as a freelancer, you can expect to be included in that culture!

What else can you expect from this organization?

  • As a congenial and collaborative culture, they’ll welcome you as an equal contributor, and value your opinion when it comes to creative and marketing project creation and delivery.

  • They’re fully committed to an Agile environment, adopting and utilizing standard Agile practices daily.

  • These folks are committed to getting it right, and as such, are quite focused on metrics and ROI. “Measure twice, cut once” is a common phrase that could possibly apply to their project teams. That’s why they value candidates with previous knowledge and experience in designing & managing to drive metrics, and have a keen eye for those with insurance industry experience.

    • Prior knowledge of and familiarity with industry acronyms is a plus.

  • This is very much a matrixed organization, so bring your A-game and communication skills! You’ll be networking with any number of stakeholders related to your creative and marketing projects.

  • Being a larger corporation, the meeting schedule is sometimes heavy. With a strong ability to stay organized and focused on your deliverable, you’ll thrive here!

Certain locations benefit from on-site fitness center facilities, Starbucks, and free parking. Our advice? Bring your walking shoes! Your day has a built in mini-workout.
